In the NY Times *twice* this week

First I'm mentioned in NY Times' blog The Caucus in Richardson Keeps Up a Cheerful Pace

For his final stop of the night, Mr. Richardson’s S.U.V. convoy — noticeably smaller than those of the other candidates — pulled into the parking lot of the Cinemagic IMAX movie theater in Hooksett where he mingled with a small crowd in the lobby not far from the popcorn and soda machines.

Marc Nozell, 49, who lives in nearby Merrimack brought his three sons to meet Mr. Richardson even though Mr. Nozell has already decided to vote for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. A campaign aide snapped a photo of the four of them with the candidate.

As he walked out of the theater, Mr. Nozell was laughing. The aide had left one of his sons out of the picture, but he was still pleased that Mr. Richardson had time to pose with them. Though, he said, it might not bode well for his campaign.

“If you are a candidate you don’t want to be accessible at this point,” he said. “You want to be a rock star like Obama or Hillary.”

Griffin was standing right next to Richardson's left. Here is the photo:

BTW, he got my age wrong.

And then today a photo in the online version of nytimes.com shows our entire family at the Hillary Primary party at Southern NH University.

Only in NH, saw Presidential Candidate at lunch

Wendy and I had lunch at the India Palace in Nashua and a few minutes after being seated a Democratic presidential candidate comes in and has lunch. Unaccompanied. Only in NH on primary day!

Anyone want to guess who it was?

I do have a photo of this person in my Flickr photostream.

Last night we took all the kids up to see the last Hillary Clinton rally before the Primary today.

Emma got tired at the Hillary Rally

They were all troopers, especially Emma who fell asleep during it.

Wendy's signed by Hillary!
Wendy was psyched that Hillary signed her homemade sign.

Sunday some of us walked up and down Elm Street in Manchester, NH to just soak in the political atmosphere.

We saw some fun stuff:

Chuck Norris and some other guy, Mike Huckabee

Sunday afternoon Spencer, Trevor, Addy and I saw Chuck Norris and Mick Huckabee in Windham, NH at a chowderfest.

There were around 500 people there and it seemed a lot of them where there to see Chuck Norris. The crowd was polite, but not terribly enthusiastic.

Spencer was able to give the Governor his Stephen Colbert "WristStrong" bracelet -- which you are required to do if you see someone more famous than yourself. We looked for it during the FOX Republican 'debate', but didn't see him wear it. Bastard!

Rudy Giuliani @ Nashua Elks Club

I'm going to start hitting the Republican events -- they are much more exciting.

At this evening's Rudy event at the Nashua Elks' club there was a Pro-Life protester who started yelling at him -- "A vote for Rudy is a vote for Dead Babies" and "You have blood on your hands". The crowd was Pro-Choice and kind of murmured over the protester. Spencer and I ran into the dude (see the complete photoset for a picture of him) and asked who *he* was supporting -- Huckabee.

At the car there was a strange Pro-Life flyer from a mythical Smith 2008 candidate who has a "Negro Problem". It is copyrighted by Randall Terry. I'll scan it in later.

This afternoon at the Nashua Public Library, Robert F. Kennedy Jr , Kerry Kennedy and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend were discussing why they are Hillary Clinton. At first it looked like it was going to be two other people and myself, but then twenty or so GMU students stopped in.

There was a Hillary Clinton event at the Nashua airport this morning. She hasn't changed her speech very much and took a bunch of questions from the crowd.

Two reporters interviewed me mostly interested in knowing what I thought of the 3rd place finish in Iowa and if she should change her message.
