Pictures of national and NH politicians and the family

Merrimack, href="http://www.ci.merrimack.nh.us">NH always has politicians to
our Fourth of July parades. Someone in town said it was because we
have a good sized town, well educated and reasonably upper-middle
class population and the pollisters think it gives a clue on how a
candidate will play nationally.

This year's parade included the NH Governor href="http://www.nh.gov/governor/">Craig Benson (R), href="http://www.joe2004.com">Joe Lieberman (D-CT), and href="http://www.grahamforpresident.com/index.html">Bob Graham
(R-FL). The campains for John Kerry, Howard Dean, Dick Gephardt, John
Edwards had a presence, but the candidate wasn't there.

Here are some pictures we got with the ones that made it.

Back in 2000, George W. Bush and Pat Buchanan were at our local
parade. Bush blew us off, but Buchanan stopped over to say hello.

Catching up on blogging...

Between Wendy at tennis camp, getting ready for a customer demo at
work and attending to the kids by myself, blogging is taking a back
seat. Here are some interesting links:

Lost bookmarks

Damn! My linux laptop's /home partition filled up and galeon
couldn't save my bookmarks -- so a truncated version (all header, no
marks) is all there is. All those random blogs I've bookmarked for
later reading... Damn, damn, damn.

Maybe now is the time to use a dedicated bookmark editor like href="http://www.nongnu.org/gnobog/">gnobog to store and
categorize the bookmarks.

amifamousyet.pl script to see who links to you

You life isn't complete until you write and post an httpd log perl script.p>

Here is my offering: amifamousyet.pl

The output shows how people are coming to my site. This week's log shows:

  • Someone trying to advertise something about Thailand has two html files on
    their Windows
    G: drive (g:/oversea/country/Thailand/Thailand advertise inc.htm)

  • Searching looking for linux/debian/genealogy/random things such as:

    • genealogy linux KDE

    • xdmcp listen debian

    • photo scanner hp 1000 twain

    • genealogy blog

    • random images (feedster.com)

    • male eye candy

    • email addresses of CHIROPRACTIC DOCTORS in usa

    • sites geographically near themselves (
      geourl.org
      )

    • Merrimack Middle School picture

    • picture of Mastricola Middle School

And most of those searches are coming from google's country-specific
search engines: at, href="http://www.google.ca">ca, href="http://www.google.ch">ch, href="http://www.google.co.nz">nz, href="http://www.google.co.uk">uk, href="http://www.google.co.au">au, href="http://www.google.com.mx">mx, href="http://www.google.com.tr">tr, href="http://www.google.com.tw">tw, href="http://www.google.nl">nl, href="http://www.google.it">it, href="http://www.google.fr">fr, href="http://www.google.lv">lv.

  • What I assume are slime trying to advertise to me by way of my referer link
    s:

      htm

    • No they don't get linked to from here...
